Connecting with Sale & Branding: How to Make a Neon Sign

After my crit I researched Neon signs and found I could make my own from neon wire. Neon signs aren't exactly the kind of branding that galleries or luxury high end shops employ however, this is exactly what I needed, as it connects to fast sales, cheap material, minium wage labour. Sort of a modern version of Michael Landy's 'Closing down sale' where he uses cheap card to express the sale aspect.

I chose red wire for its connotations with sale, and themes throughout my past work which have involved red alongside the silver for this reason.
